The man cannot be a child for ages;

he has to, someday, go out to the real life,

to the 'enemy life'. This should be the 'education for the reality'.

Shall I say that this work is so as a progress necessity?

This kind invitation to do an essay, which can reflect the writer's mission of a new millennium, permits me to surmise a possibility: " The mission means to give answers ".

Will it be like that? In that case, answer to what?

Looking it up in the Royal-Spanish-Academy dictionary, I am surprised of the appropriate use of "mission" word.

"Mission" means the action of send; like the power, faculty given to a person to hold any assignment.

Undoubtedly, talking about the writer's "mission" is a clever idea. And I am going to explain why.

It is not common meeting a person who only writes to herself. Technically, write means to communicate words or ideas through letters or symbols. Concluding it, the last process purpose is "to communicate".

This is very applicable to writers. We yearn to communicate, our convictions, dreams, joy, grief; our mankind way of seeing and its circumstance. If we thought that we have nothing to say, we would not write.

Leaving behind people who see writing as a business, every writer knows there is not right to hand over the worst of oneself knowingly; it is not fair play to tell the reader something we do not think; if we have in front of us a complex and in danger of extinction world, it will be a good moment to focus on a mission.

We are skilled using words better than others, transforming a house collapse, into a metaphor about Earth's future.

All these thoughts show to the mission that giving answers is an essential component of writer's nature.

It will depend on our tilt to aesthetic or social or ideological things, to answer them.

I feel that my mission is: " take advantage of my writer ability to collaborate on a better-world creation ".

We have access to culture, thought, art subtlety, scientific-knowledge wonder. This let us sense with more facility and speed, the varied changes in the environment and its effects. So, why do not we put within all people reach, the wonder of thought, knowledge, art and science, everyone agree with its taste?

Why do not we come into fashion the idea of create and support the best history millennium?

Paraphrasing to a biblical writer called Isaias 42:7, I can ask you: " to help opening the eyes of those who turn a blind eye and taking the people who live in obscurity, out of prison ".

In the last Carl Sagan's book " Billions and billions ", he encloses an article of his authorship called " The ordinary enemy ", written in 1988, which is referred to the contacts between the United States and Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. It finishes with the following words: " perhaps we will destroy ourselves. perhaps the world will be limited to medieval conditions or a much worse thing. However, I do not lose hope. Recently, there have been a sign of change. in the appropriate direction. Is it possible that. the human beings regain the reason and start working together living up to our specie and our planet, once and for all? Nothing have been promised. We have to build up a valuable future for our children and grandchildren ".

The writers are not unaware of the responsibility of changing the world. Our feeling get into people hearts and it can move a lot of heads.

I believe that our new-millennium mission is: "take advantage of our writer abilities to collaborate on a better world creation".

I hope a lot of people will start sharing this aim.
